Chapter 152: Chapter 151: Sixth Elder (Seeking for Monthly Tickets )_1
Dust Free Peak, where the Sixth Elder, Feng Ya, resides.
Like Laurel Fairy Palace, Dust Free Peak only recruits female disciples. It’s brimming with beauties, but the most gorgeous among them is the Sixth Elder.
It is known that the Sixth Elder is a dear friend of the palace master of Laurel Fairy Palace.
Lu Yang has heard his senior brothers mention Elder Six countless times, advising him not to lose composure if he ever runs into her, as she is a woman of breathtaking beauty.
“Lu Yang? What brings you here?” At the foot of Dust Free Peak, Lu Yang runs into Tao Yaoye.
Tao Yaoye is tall and radiant, standing out amongst the crowd.
Lu Yang takes out a book, “Eldest Senior Sister told me to give this book to the Sixth Elder.”
“My master is out, so you’ll need to wait for about half an hour or so. Would you like to come in and sit down?” Tao Yaoye invites him.
Lu Yang shows a slightly eager yet awkward expression: “Is that appropriate? After all, I’m a man…”
“Oh, it’s fine, it’s fine. Among everyone at Dust Free Peak, our cultivation levels are the lowest. We will be fine.”
Lu Yang silently watches Tao Yaoye, she looks so pure and innocent that it’s as if she doesn’t know the extent of the damage those words have caused to Lu Yang’s pride.
Lu Yang sighs as he follows Tao Yaoye forward. Tao Yaoye turns around with a sly smile playing on her lips.
“Oh, by the way, I owe you five contribution points, let me pay you back now.” When Lu Yang bought the Ten Bulls Strength Pill, he was short of five contribution points, so he borrowed them from Tao Yaoye.
The Ten Bulls Strength Pill has proven quite useful, and aided Lu Yang significantly.
“Oh, you remembered. I totally forgot.” Tao Yaoye chuckles.
The Fairy Eternity wonders, “Don’t I also have a lot of contribution points?” Now that she is an honored guest of Seek Dao Sect and has killed a unified cultivator, Yun Zhi has awarded her many contribution points.
“Lu Yang, Lu Yang, I want to redeem my points.”
Fairy Eternity complains incessantly until Lu Yang finally relents, “After we leave Dust Free Peak, I’ll take you to the contribution exchange board. You can buy whatever you want.”
“That’s more like it.” Fairy Eternity nods satisfactorily, thinking that Lu Yang has potential.
“You have to be careful over there, you absolutely can’t go.” Tao Yaoye points at a pond, warning Lu Yang.
The pond is shrouded in mist, making it difficult to see what is inside, but the pleasing sound of laughter, like the tinkling of bells, can be heard from there.
“The senior sisters like to bathe there. A few years ago, a senior brother, relying on his advanced teleportation skills, sneaked into Dust Free Peak wanting to peep on the sisters, but all we heard were his screams of pain.”
“Where is that senior brother now?”
“Well, since he was skilled at teleportation, he has disappeared without a trace.”
My God, Dust Free Peak is perilous.
Lu Yang is relieved to know that he’s a gentleman.
Tao Yaoye brings Lu Yang to her usual training spot: “Want to spar?”
“Alright.” Lu Yang gladly agrees, pulling out his Green Peak Sword. Fairy Eternity suddenly remembers Lu Yang has the Sword Spirit Root, which means, in theory, he should wield a sword. She has yet to see him use one since her revival.
“Senior Brother Lu, be careful. I’ve learned some new techniques in the past two months.” Tao Yaoye opens up her red paper umbrella.
With a twist of her wrist and a slight looseness in her palm, the red paper umbrella begins to spin. Petals of peach blossoms fall like rain, blocking Lu Yang’s line of sight.
The sword light pierces the sky, its whistling sound as it sweeps through the air attempts to dispel the falling petals.
Behind Lu Yang, the petals gradually form a human silhouette. Tao Yaoye’s umbrella closes as she launches a sideways attack.
Lu Yang, as if foreseeing Tao Yaoye’s move, positions his sword behind his back, blocking the strike. The red paper umbrella, made of an unknown material, withstands the clash with the Green Peak Sword without a scratch.
The sword light bursts again. Tao Yaoye didn’t expect Lu Yang’s sword maneuver to be this fast.
“Character Gesture!” Lu Yang’s eyes narrow in concentration as he mercilessly lunges at Tao Yaoye’s chest.
Tao Yaoye chuckles lightly, stepping back as the tip of her umbrella collides with the sword’s tip. She tries to throw off Lu Yang’s sword technique, but his hand remains steady, relentlessly pursuing Tao Yaoye.
Within the falling peach blossom rain, Green Peak Sword clashes with the red paper umbrella. Their shadows swiftly pass each other, disappearing in an instant.
Both parties find it hard to land a killing blow, awaiting the perfect opportunity.
Suddenly, Lu Yang’s eyes light up as he finds a flaw in Tao Yaoye’s defense. Green Peak Sword slides through the raining petals like a fish, pressing against Tao Yaoye’s throat.
“I forfeit.” Tao Yaoye helplessly raises her hands in surrender.
Lu Yang changes his move again, thrusting towards a vacant spot. The real Tao Yaoye is dumbfounded, staring at the bright sword tip aimed at her forehead. All along, what appeared before him was just an illusion created by her.
This time, Tao Yaoye sincerely admits defeat. The peach blossom rain disappears, along with the illusory Tao Yaoye. Everything was just an illusion. “How did you figure out where the real me was?” Tao Yaoye isn’t overly upset about losing, she’s used to learning from the experiences of past battles.
“The technique I practise is called the ‘Mind Seeing Method’, it can break illusions. It’s your nemesis.”
“Mind Seeing Method? I’ve never heard of it.”
“I came up with it.” Lu Yang says with pride, after all, being able to write your own technique is no simple feat.
Before Tao Yaoye can say anything in response, she lifts her head and sees a red mist flying above them.
“The master has returned.”
Tao Yaoye leads Lu Yang to the Sixth Elder’s abode. As the senior brothers had described, the Sixth Elder is truly beautiful. Unlike the Eldest Senior Sister’s cold beauty, the Sixth Elder has a warm smile, like a considerate elder sister, giving people a sense of warmth.
Heave – Heave – Heave –
Suddenly, Lu Yang struggles to breathe. It’s as if the surrounding oxygen has disappeared. Despite his best efforts to inhale the non-existent oxygen, he finds his attempts futile.
“Yaoye, didn’t you tell him about me?”
Tao Yaoye slaps her forehead, “I forgot.”
She quickly pulls Lu Yang away from the Sixth Elder to a safer distance. Lu Yang feels like a fish that has been returned to water, desperately trying to fill his lungs with as much air as he could.
Heave – Heave – “What’s going on?”
With an apologetic smile, Tao Yaoye says, “I’m sorry, I forgot to mention. My master is a Pure Immortal Body, untainted by dust, and she naturally repels the surrounding air, which she can’t control. So people close to her may feel like they are suffocating. Just hold your breath, and it’ll be fine.”
Lu Yang:
No wonder everyone says that the Sixth Elder is a woman that literally takes your breath away.
Could everyone in the Seek Dao Sect be this straightforward and blunt with their words, not bothering to use figurative language, but only telling the literal truth?
Holding his breath, Lu Yang approaches the Sixth Elder once more.
For someone at the Foundation Establishment Stage, as long as they are prepared, not breathing for a while won’t matter. But once they reach the Golden Core Stage, they can circulate energy within their own body and won’t need to breathe at all.
“Lu Yang pays respects to Sixth Elder.” Lu Yang bows respectfully, “Master has spoken highly of you and insists he sees you as a beloved sister.”
On the flying car, Daoist Buyu told Lu Yang about his relationship with the Sixth Elder, in such moving terms that both Lu Yang and Meng Jingzhou were quite touched.
The Sixth Elder scoffs, “Really, I always thought of him as a dear grandson.”
Lu Yang freezes, considering whether he should just mention Eldest Senior Sister instead of his master the next time he’s out. His master’s habit of acting disgracefully and attracting hostility… maybe it’s better not to bring him up.
