Chapter 27 – Think! Think!
Little flower Su Jin’s WeChat ID for work was originally composed of the simple words “Su Jin”. But when Su Jishi had access to it, she felt really uncomfortable with the name and changed it to “Dr. Su”.
Su Jishi had been careless. Now she must find a way to get through the mistake she made.
Think! Think!
Finally, an excuse popped up in her mind fueled by sudden rush of adrenaline.
“Well…Uhm, there was this motto that I love. ‘An apple a day keeps the doctor away.’ I love apples, so I named myself Dr. Su in WeChat.” Su Jishi uttered without blinking, a frozen smile on her face.
There was no logical relationship between the reasons she gave, but Mu Xiulun actually nodded and seemed to approve the name.
It was a pity that Su Jishi didn’t know that her mistake lead to one thing. Just because of her casual rhetoric, Mu Xiulun silently decided to call her “little apple” for a long time to come.
Just as they were talking, heavy, unrestrained footsteps came from the other side of the corridor. The first thing to pour into their eardrum was the sound of high heels landing on the floor creating screeching, unpleasant sounds.
The thin stilettos knocked on the floor, piercing their ears with each collision. The two craned their necks to see who were the unwelcome visitors as they just couldn’t ignore the ruckus.
Then, another string of heavy footsteps caused by a pair of leather shoes followed. In each step, the owner of the shoes seemed to gasp out a mouthful of polluted air, accompanied by a female companion who laughed seductively.
Strange…Su Jishi thought. Their location in the restaurant was in a relatively remote corner. How can there be passers-by here?
Looking at Mu Xiulun again, the man’s face became cold and he put down his cutlery. Judging his expression, he already recognized the identities of the two uninvited guests.
A few seconds later, a plump middle-aged man appeared in front of them with a charming young girl hanging in his arms.
The middle-aged man was short and fat, looking in his early fifties, but his hairline had already retreated behind his head. He was wearing a striped brown leisure suit, his collar and cuffs were stuffed to the brim, as if the suit would burst if he breathed more.
As for the young girl nestled in his arms, she looked like she was only 21 or 22 years old. With delicate makeup and a hot figure, Su Jishi could tell that she was a woman hung with worldly wisdom which others didn’t have at her age.

She obviously leaned on the shoulder of the middle-aged man, but her eyes were like hooks, giving Mu Xiulun the flirty gaze.
The middle-aged man, with a rounded belly, stood at the table, waiting for Mu Xiulun to take the initiative to greet him.
It was a pity that Mu Xiulun didn’t have high regards for him. The middle-aged man was left to dry for a long time.
He lost his face and had to brace himself up before speaking, “What a coincidence. I didn’t expect to meet Xiulun here!” His eyes rested on Su Jishi afterwards. As if he had just seen her, and he greeted her with great exaggeration, “Oh! Currently dating Su Jin? My uncle didn’t disturb you, did he? ”
Mu Xiulun did not get up, but nodded slightly: “I didn’t expect to meet my uncle here.”
The middle-aged man was his adoptive mother’s close relative. Now that his adoptive mother had a stern hold in the EP Mining Company, she became an asset that sits on two iron ore company.
Because she disliked Mu Xiulun, and even her relatives looked down upon him, she often excluded him from their family.
This time though, it was his second uncle who came to Mu Xiulun as soon as he heard that he would have a romantic dinner here. He hurried over with his most lovable little girlfriend.
Mu Xiulun’s keeping Su Jin as his girlfriend was a well-known gossip in the family. His uncle saw Su Jin on TV, but didn’t think that she was even more dazzling in person.

If she was a warm and lovely white peach on TV, here she appeared like a swaying red cherry sitting by the table filled with delicious food. She bore the same facial features he saw on advertisements, but in the flesh, her beauty was warm and unrestrained.
The kind of beauty which made the second uncle itch in his heart.
