There was once when he heard about the Queen Mother (Wife of the Jade Emperor) holding a banquet for all the immortals. The peaches of her peach garden, the Peaches of Immortality, offers and maintains the immortality that the immortals have. But Sun Wukong wasn’t invited because he was a mere nobody. So what did he do? Steal them of course. There’s many variations to the story but he basically created so much of a ruckus that he was chased across the entire Heavens. In the process, he created his Fiery Golden Eyes that could see through all evils and got his invincible body as well. Eventually, he was too much of a problem that the Buddha had to intervene before imprisoning him under the Five Fingered Mountain for 500 years till the arrival of Tripitaka where he begins his…Journey to the West!
