333 The Situation Is Not Serious
Inside the tower…
Wang Wen’s energy level had returned to normal.
He felt as if he had been reborn.
He could use his energy to ensure that he could safely exit the tower in five seconds, even without the Unity of Man and Nature.
That was his body’s energy, which the outside world could not take away without his permission.
The oath had been broken.
The surroundings were already in shambles when viewed through the air bubble.
Surprisingly, there was minor damage to the soil, sand, and vegetation on the ground. Wang Wen had caused the least amount of damage since swearing to the Unity of Man and Nature.
Wang Wen was intrigued.
Would that world be more delectable than the 600th floor?
Was there ever anything so wonderful?
Wang Wen was ecstatic.
He calculated as he looked at the Unity of Man and Nature, which had only a little more than an hour left.
It was far too late to increase the number of repetitions.
His energy had been completely restored.
He could only increase his energy to that extent in the previous eight hours. Even if he spent another eight hours, he would only double his current base, which was insignificant.
He considered it and decided to use the remaining hour to trade for points.
He made his decision.
He swore again as he touched the scepter.
In the distance, there was a mountain peak.
The people inside were terrified when the mountain-protecting formation activated.
A group of people dressed in various outfits, led by a middle-aged man in a white robe with golden threads, stood proudly at the cliff’s edge, looking down at the stone steps at the mountain’s base.
In fact, from their vantage point, they could not see the mountain base.
The act of looking out could be considered an obscure act.
“Sect Master, even though Xiang Er is mischievous, she would not disturb the mountain-protecting formation,” an elderly lady said to the middle-aged man. “Something significant must have occurred.”
“Yes, Senior Sister Shan. You are right.” The middle-aged man stood at the foot of the mountain, hands behind his back. “Xiang Er and Xiao Long are both good children; they will not mess around,” he said.
The elderly lady was concerned. “They must have used the mountain-protecting formation because the situation was dire. Do you want me to go take a look?”
The middle-aged man gazed at the seven-colored light-emitting mountain formation. He shook his head and smiled. “Perhaps the situation was initially grave, but once the mountain-protecting formation is started, it will no longer be that grave. Under its protection, no one can harm our disciples.”
He had just finished speaking…
The sky was abuzz with activity.
The mountain-protecting formation on which they had relied and trusted had crumbled.
A terrifying tornado that reached the sky rose from the mountain’s foot and swallowed all the mountain-protecting formation’s fragments.
Everyone on the mountain peak, including the elderly lady, was taken aback.
The middle-aged man in the white robe cursed a few times before rolling up his sleeves and flying straight to the base.
The people behind him were quick to follow.
Before they even got close to the tornado’s center.
The large group could feel the energy in their bodies rolling and flowing away, forcibly extracted and fused into the violent airflow around them.
The middle-aged man exclaimed, “Get into position!”
The group formed a human wall in the air, and their skin glowed faintly red.
The middle-aged man tossed out a magical treasure in the shape of a compass. It grew with the wind and quickly transformed into a round plate the size of a roof, shielding everyone in the center.
The people inside the disc were finally safe from the outer air flow.
It started eroding the disc.
When the middle-aged man saw the round plate being swept away by the air current, he breathed anxiously.
It rolled and shattered all at once.
His heart hurt so much that he could not breathe.
He cursed several times.
He had no choice but to give up.
He looked at the mountain’s base.
He led the group out of the path of the terrifying tornado; his face was pale.
“What about Xiao Long and Xiang Er?” the old woman asked anxiously.
After the mountain-protecting formation broke, the middle-aged man looked up at the stars in the sky.
“Our sect has been through a lot. The treasure of our sect has been destroyed, and we are unable to care for anything else. Good luck to everyone!” he said with a despondent tone.
He had just finished speaking when…
The terrifying tornado came to an abrupt halt.
It disappeared just as quickly as it appeared.
It came and went quickly, without pausing.
The middle-aged man was taken aback.
The elderly woman was concerned about her cherished disciple. She could not stand it any longer and dashed to the mountain base.
Everyone rushed after her.
She flew all the way to the mountain base and saw a dazed man and woman on the ground, as well as the skinny monkey swaying in the air.
The middle-aged man remembered the destroyed mountain-protecting formation and the sect’s treasure and realized if the person in front of him had done it. Would they be forced to fight to the death?
He summoned his last ounce of courage and exclaimed, “Who are you?! How dare you demolish my mountain-protecting formation and bully my sect? Is it because we have no support?”
A voice was heard.
Wang Wen, who had just finished his oath, gave him an odd look.
The air currents accelerated once more.
The frightening tornado reappeared.
Everyone finally saw the main culprit who destroyed the mountain.
Unfortunately, they were unable to concentrate on attacking.
More than half of the energy in their bodies had been drawn away in less than a second.
The weaker ones appeared to have had their treasures, clothes, and even flesh taken.
The elderly woman quickly drew the stunned man and woman and flew away.
The group was able to escape the tornado thanks to the protection of the middle-aged man.
As they fled to the mountain peak, they looked down at the terrifying tornado growing at the mountain base.
Everyone’s clothing was in shambles.
The woman with a small waist even showed off her tiny breasts. She was so taken aback that she forgot to cover it up. She looked at the tornado in the distance, raging and devouring everything in its path.
After a half-hour wait.
The tornado was so powerful that it nearly destroyed the mountain peak.
The tornado seemed to be attracted by something, and all the air currents flowed to the other side just as the middle-aged man helplessly led the group to a different location.
The middle-aged man’s face darkened as he looked in that direction. If he was not mistaken, the only spirit stone mine was in that direction.
The spirit stone mine was vast and resource-rich.
Normally, it would be enough to last several generations.
Given the terrifying tornado’s suction force, there would not be much left even if the spirit stone mine survived.
In pain, the middle-aged man closed his eyes.
He asked the young man a question. “Who is he? How can he be so cruel?”
The young man was taken aback.
He opened his mouth but could not think of anything to say.
“Xiang Er, weren’t you on a mission earlier?” the old woman asked, frowning and trying to slow her tone.
“How did you come to provoke such a dreadful figure?”
“Master, we were mistaken—” As she cried, the woman’s voice trembled.
Her face was filled with regret and fear, and she repeated the entire event with a fearful voice.
Toward the end…
The middle-aged man had had enough and scolded, “This is absurd! How many times have I told you that the cultivation method used by our sect can only extract the spiritual power of demonic beasts and that you are not permitted to touch humans? You two have broken the sect’s rules by provoking such a terrifying figure. Hand over your treasures, spirit stones, and sect tokens, and leave!”
“Why are you chasing me away?”
