Chapter 190: Online Game: Pal, Do You Want a Cheat Engine? (20)
Ji Yunting can’t figure out why he didn’t find Crane among the Clouds such a pain in the ass in the past year he has known him.
Crane among the Clouds has just sent him an email.
Meanwhile, he receives a deposit reminder.
The email basically reads that Crane among the Clouds wanted to cheat a big sum of money out of A Sword from the West, go abroad without a care and quit the game. However, after he was abroad, life wasn’t as interesting as the game was. Besides, his account, Crane among the Clouds was a good one. It would be a waste if he started another account all over again. So, he regretted what he did. Knowing that A Sword from the West wouldn’t let it go easily if he finds him, he also knows he has already reported it to the police.
Thus, hit by a bright idea, he contacted the police himself, saying he did that stupid shit because he had a fight with A Sword from the West and deposited one million yuan as a compensation.
The police find this kind of dispute annoying so it thinks it good to end it like this since Crane among the Clouds has acknowledged his mistake and provided a large sum of compensation.
Ji Yunting is severely put off when he reads this email.
It isn’t money he lacks. Nor is Crane among the Clouds short of money. Besides Crane among the Clouds knows it isn’t money he is short of.
What good is money!
Crane among the Clouds only did that in order to settle their dispute on the surface and put him off once more.
Standing next to Ji Yunting and watching him smile ghastly, Ah Zhao can’t help but worrying about that guy who gives him such a smile.
However, when she reads that email herself, she follows Ji Yunting and smiles ghastly as well.
“Your friend is really someone.” Ah Zhao says.
Ji Yunting suddenly laughs. He is handsome when he does it but he looks a little scary too.
“I think a large part of Midland remains to be explored.” Ji Yunting says below his breath.
“It is a delight to fight with men. Don’t you think?”
It seems the male lead is badly upset. Ah Zhao thinks.
She hurriedly nods.
“Let’s go and gear up.” Ji Yunting turns full of vigor at once.
Ah Zhao stops him. “No. You have to log out now.”
A Sword from the West pauses.
Ah Zhao says seriously: “According to analysis, you’ve been online for 19 hours which is bad for your health.”
How come a cheat engine acts like a steward? Ji Yunting thinks.
He wants to continue but his virtual panel is turned blank by Ah Zhao.
“Take a rest. Meet me after at least eight hours or you won’t be able to play even if you log in.” Ah Zhao says grumpily.
Ji Yunting has no choice but to answer: “Well, well, well, I’m logging out.”
Then he logs out.
Ah Zhao watches him turn into a light spot then disappear.
With her aloofness gone, she is lively again. Stretching out. It feels so good!
Ji Yunting takes a rest but she doesn’t need that. When he’s back, she’s going to surprise him with a big present.
She is about to head into an instance when her face changes.
On the other side of this planet, Crane among the Clouds, who has just logged in the game, suddenly shudders.
Pondering, he doesn’t think he has pissed anyone else except A Sword from the West, who can’t have the power to find fault with him for now.
Then he sets his mind at ease. Finding himself a team, he prepares to do some daily tasks.
