Chapter 44: Mentor
“Get lost!”
Yang Xinyi’s face flushed red which made her look more beautiful. That embarrassed and angry look of hers made Ye Xiong’s urge to rise up.
It would be good if he was able to kiss her!
Lil Aunt insisted to talk to Ye Xiong when they arrived home and Ye Xiong’s sweet-talking managed to make Yang Yueru so happy that she burst into laughter.
They talked until ten before she reluctantly parted ways to take a bath.
Just as Ye Xiong was alone in the living room, someone approached him sneakily. She sat beside Ye Xiong and stared at Ye Xiong with her big bubbly eyes. One could see her sinister smile coming from her gaze.
“Should I be calling you cousin-in-law or Du Yuehua’s mister?” Tang Ning’s gaze hinted at a slight mischievousness.
“What do you mean, cousin-in-law?” Ye Xiong smiled as he looked at her.
Tang Ning had been acting like a very good girl as she had been rather quiet that night. However, that was nothing but an act. Her eyes had been moving about the entire night and nobody knew what she was planning to do.
She was probably incredibly frustrated since she had her eighty thousand bucks scammed away and must have been planning some sort of revenge.
“I know everything. The marriage between you and cousin is fake and you’re actually Du Yuehua’s mister.” Tang Ning claimed confidently as she kept staring at Ye Xiong. “Hand over my eighty thousand bucks quietly if you don’t want anyone to find out.”
“Who told you that my marriage to your cousin is fake?” Ye Xiong asked curiously.
“I’ve secretly entered cousin’s room earlier and I couldn’t find a single item of yours inside. This is proof that you two are not sleeping together. How could you two not be sleeping with each other if you two are really married? Also, I’ve heard from Feiyang International Hotel that your relationship with your boss is quite complicated. It’s obvious that you’re her mister. Do you have anything else to say?”
Tang Ning looked extremely satisfied as if she had completely cornered Ye Xiong.
Ye Xiong sighed as he shook his head. “I can tell that you’ve never had a boyfriend, right?”
“Who says that I’ve never had a boyfriend? Let me tell you, I have so many boyfriends that they can queue from the entrance of the school to the back door of the school,” Tang Ning explained hastily.
“Woah, that many? Are you sure you can take all of them on?” Ye Xiong widened his eyes in shock.
“How shameless of you.” Tang Ning was furious.
“You’re the one who said that you’ve so many boyfriends that they would queue from the entrance of the school to the back door of the school.”
“What I’m saying is that the number of people chasing after me starts from the entrance of the school until the back door of the school.” Tang Ning immediately corrected him.
“That means that you’ve never had a boyfriend before. You’ve many admirers but that doesn’t mean that you have a boyfriend.” Ye Xing giggled.
“Who said…” Tang Ning wanted to defend herself but her gaze became sober all of the sudden. “Why do you care if I’ve got a boyfriend? Either way, I’ve announced my intention. I’ll tell my uncle and my mother that you’re putting up an act with my cousin if you don’t hand over the money.”
“Go tell them then!” Ye Xiong waved his hand as if he did not care at all.
“I’m really going to tell them.” Tang Ning stood up and acted like she was about to leave.
“It’s pointless because they won’t believe you.” Ye Xiong crossed his legs. “They’ll say that you’ve never been in a relationship and you don’t know anything about it. There’s a shelf life for everything nowadays, including a relationship between guys and girls. Do you understand that?”
“What do you mean shelf life?” Tang Ning asked curiously.
“There’s someone called Turge… Someone that was known as the love mentor.” Ye Xiong pondered purposely.
“Turgenev?”
“That’s right, Turgenev. He once said that everything has a shelf life, including love. True love’s shelf life is between 18 months to 30 months. Hence, getting married between around that duration is the best as a couple would tend to part ways if the time goes on.” Ye Xiong acted seriously.
“Does this have to do with you two sleeping in different rooms?” Tang Ning’s bubbly eyes blinked as she asked curiously.
“What I’m saying is that there’s also a shelf life for actions between a guy and a girl.” Ye Xiong coughed as he explained.
“What kind of action?” Tang Ning moved over and asked curiously.
At her current age where she had just entered her third year of high school, it was also the time where she would be incredibly curious about love. Hence, Ye Xiong’s words were incredibly easy to interest her.
Ye Xiong remained silent. He used his left hand to form a circle with his thumb and index finger and did the motion.
Tang Ning’s face was flushed red until her neck as she instantly understood what it was.
She was able to understand such a sinful gesture no matter how stupid she was.
Ye Xiong could tell immediately that this girl was a virgin based on the expression alone.
“cousin-in-law, you’re not a good man,” Tang Ning scolded.
Ye Xiong kept giggling. He was like a big bad wolf that had baited an innocent white bunny into its trap.
“I’m done talking to you. You should go up and sleep!” Ye Xiong waved his hand and acted very serious.
“Who says that I’m a kid?” Tang Ning boasted. “I’m already eighteen. I’m an adult now.”
Ye Xiong ignored her as he continued playing with his phone. He knew that Tang Ning would fall for temptation and continued to question him.
Behold. Tang Ning hesitated for a while before asking, “cousin-in-law, about the thing you said earlier. Is there really a shelf life?”
“Which one?” Ye Xiong acted oblivious.
“The one… the one you did with your hands earlier.” Tang Ning was blushing so much that even her neck was dyed the same color when she spoke.
“Of course. Why do you think I’m sleeping in a separate room from your cousin?”
“How long is the shelf life then?”
“That depends on the frequency.”
“What frequency?”
“If the frequency is high, the shelf life is around two to three years. If the frequency is low, the shelf life is around four to five years.”
“Then, how many times per week can be considered normal?” Tang Ning asked softly.
“Come over here!” Yang Xiong hooked his finger as he tried to pull her closer and said, “This question is quite sensitive so I need to whisper the answer to you.”
Tang Ning moved over as her curiosity was at its peak then.
“Closer.” Ye Xiong screamed.
Tang Ning lowered her head and her chest was completely exposed when bent down.
Ye Xiong’s gaze was fixated on it as if he had turned into a stone statue.
Blood started flowing out from his nose and he did not even realize it even when the blood flowed to the side of his lips.
Tang Ning waited for a long time and raised her head when Ye Xiong did not utter a single word.
All she saw was Ye Xiong was fixated on what was insider her collar.
“Pervert, b*stard!”
Slap!
Tang Ning gave Ye Xiong a strong slap on the face. Her face was so red that she stomped up the stairs angrily.
“I’m going to tell cousin that you’re a sick pervert.” Tang Ning’s voice reverberated from the distance.
Ye Xiong wiped the blood away and uttered two words after a moment of silence. “So huge!”
