Chapter 319: Formidable Enemy, It’s You
“Wait a minute! Who did I just see? Isn’t that Emperor Might, the chairperson of Pangu Arcana Combine? Oh, Vulcan is also here. Are they all back?
“It’s them. It’s definitely them. I can’t be wrong.”
“Great! The stellar beings of Earth are back finally. Now, the Kryptonians’ time is up.”
“Five years! It has been five years! Today is my happiest day. That’s great. They are finally back.”
“Come on, kill all the gods, and then wipe out the Kryptonians.”
Emperor Might and others had only been back for a dozen seconds, yet it had set off a blockbuster-like uproar on Earth.
Five years ago, the deities were born, leading to the death, exile, and betrayer of many stellar beings. Humans would never forget that pain.
Without the presence of the stellar beings, Earth had plunged into dire straits.
Humans on Earth had learned the hard way the importance of the Arcanists.
How would they not rejoice when stellar beings like Emperor Might Huang and Vulcan were back?
Of course, Ling Jiu did not know all of this. He had deliberately sent Vulcan and others away.
The Kryptonians were coming. He wanted to capture them alive at once and turned them into tree-planting gardeners. It would be difficult to do that if Emperor Might and others were present.
“When will the Kryptonians arrive, Leoux?” Ling Jiu asked.
“Five minutes max, judging their speed,” Leoux replied.
“Then let’s wait for them.”
Ling Jiu sat cross-legged on the roof of the pantheon and waited quietly.
He could not wait for the arrival of the Kryptonians—66 super-clustered beings.
He wanted to capture and turn them into his living puppets, his most useful gardeners.
He could not wait any longer.
“What is Ling Jiu doing?”
Billions of netizens watching the live stream were puzzled at seeing Ling Jiu sitting down.
“He must have been exhausted after the battle. Is he catching his breath now?”
“It doesn’t look like that is what he is doing but more like waiting for someone.”
“Waiting for someone? Who is he waiting for?”
“Your guess is as good as mine.”
Time passed quickly while the netizens were in puzzlement.
Five minutes later, dozens of light streams flew through the void in their direction like fighter jets, roaring in the sky at supersonic speed.
“What is that?”
The phenomenon attracted the attention of a group of reporters on the pantheon square. They all trained their cameras at the fast-approaching light.
“What’s going on?”
“What was that?”
“D*mn! That was loud! Are those supersonic fighter jets? Did all of you hear the sonic boom?”
Billions of netizens were taken aback, eyes glued to the computer screen as dozens of streams of light approached and stopped in the air over the pantheon.
They could finally see what those things were. It was a group of warriors. They were all strong and wearing black armor.
“The Kryptonians.”
“They’re Kryptonians.”
“D*mn! What are they doing here?”
“What are they trying to do? Are they going to attack Ling Jiu?”
The netizens were shocked. At first, they still had faith in Ling Jiu, hoping that he could kill all the Kryptonians.
However, seeing so many Kryptonians at once, they fell silent.
Looking at those Kryptonians bursting with powerful aura and intimidating strength, they knew the Kryptonians were at the level of the kings of the gods. Could Ling Jiu really take on so many of them at once?
“It looks like he is in trouble. Can he beat them?”
“He will. Ling Jiu will definitely beat them.”
“Absolutely. Ling Jiu will definitely defeat them. We humans will be done for if he fails.”
“There you are.”
Ling Jiu got to his feet and looked at the 66 super-clustered Kryptonians with smiles in his eyes.
He would kill none of these Kryptonians—they all made the best gardeners. It would be a massive waste to kill even one.
“Human, you are under thirty yet can kill super-clustered beings. That’s truly amazing. There are few indigenous beings like you in the entire galaxy. Now I will give you a chance.”
The leading Kryptonian, who had a squared face, broad ears, stared icily at Ling Jiu. “Kneel and surrender to us immediately. Otherwise, I will make today your death anniversary next year.”
The Kryptonian who spoke was General Zod, one of the two highest-ranking Kryptonians, and the highest leader of the Atlantic Kryptonians.
Humans staring in front of the screens were furious.
“Those scoundrels are asking Ling Jiu to surrender. Who gave them the courage?”
“Shameless. Ling Jiu has killed many kings of the gods. He may be stronger than all Kryptonians. Yet they want Ling Jiu to surrender. Are those scoundrels suffering from brain short-circuits?”
“All of you want me to surrender?” Ling Jiu sneered. “You must all have a delusion and a short-circuit in your brains.”
“How dare you!” a Kryptonian yelled. “You lowlife aborigine. Do you know who you are speaking to? He is the Honorable General Zod. Mind your language!”
“The Honorable General Zod?” Ling Jiu sneered. “You’re all just a bunch of whipped dogs. What honorable are you talking about?”
“You have a death wish!”
All the Kryptonians were enraged by what Ling Jiu said.
He had just said something that hurt them the most.
Their home planet Krypton had been destroyed, and they had nowhere to go. They were indeed like whipped dogs.
“You will die, human!”
General Zod roared, his voice exploding like muffled thunder, shaking the air for hundreds of miles. The reporters’ eardrums rand as they put their heads in their hands in pain.
The terrifying sound waves formed into substantive ripples, which spread like a Category 10 typhoon.
The billions of people watching the live stream had their hearts in their mouths when they saw what happened.
“So what?” Ling Jiu said with a shrug. “You can’t kill me, anyway. By the way, I forgot to tell you one thing.”
He then form-shifted into a Golden Saiyan Ape.
General Zod’s heart skipped a beat and roared angrily. “It’s you!”
Some of the 66 Kryptonians also yelled in fury, “It’s you, the robber, godd*mn thief!”
“What is going on?”
Kal looked at General Zod with a puzzled look on his face. He did not know why General Zod and others became so agitated when Ling Jiu had form shifted.
“I had over one thousand Kryptonians with me. But someone snatched over three hundred of them away. This scoundrel is that abductor.”
General Zod gritted his teeth as he stared at Ling Jiu angrily. How he wished he could beat Ling Jiu into dead meat now.
