Chapter 2721: Accepting a Pet Beast

She had promised to venture into the Chaotic Space two days ago, but exhaustion from a long soak in the bathtub left her drained, postponing her visit. As mealtime approached, she found herself further delayed, unable to spare a moment for the chaotic realm.
But now, with a newfound vigor thanks to today’s bathwater, she finally made her way into the Chaotic Space.
The realm seemed to welcome her eagerly, akin to a child reunited with its mother. It had doubted her commitment to training before, considering her previous excuses mere placation. But now, it was certain of her dedication.
Gu Chaoyan couldn’t help but feel a twinge of guilt at the realm’s excitement. After all, she had broken her promise. Yet, she resolved to make it up in the future.
“I apologize for my tardiness. Where shall we begin training?” Gu Chaoyan asked earnestly, hoping to make amends for her delay.
“Over there. Just jump in casually. I’ll put you in a random place.” The Chaotic Space pointed at a place and said.
Before Gu Chaoyan started to dance, she could not help but think about it.
Every time, the Chaotic Space looked like it was going to harm someone.
How could she dare to go there directly?
Although in the end, she still jumped down.
After all, the Chaotic Space was still reliable.
After going down, she appeared in a mountain. She did not know what mountain it was.
Gu Chaoyan gazed upward, her eyes scanning the dense forest canopy. This mountain was unfamiliar to her; it differed vastly from the ordinary terrain she was accustomed to.
In typical landscapes, even amidst abundant spiritual energy, the foliage wouldn’t boast such towering grandeur. These trees, almost scraping the heavens, stretched endlessly, shrouding the sky in an eternal twilight.
Sensing the palpable tension, Gu Chaoyan instinctively braced herself. Caution was paramount in such unfamiliar surroundings, where danger could lurk unseen.
Yet, despite her vigilance, there were no signs of any approaching creatures—until a distant roar pierced the stillness.
Was it a confrontation?
That notion lingered in Gu Chaoyan’s mind as she stealthily approached the source of the commotion.
Before her, a colossal leopard and a mammoth tiger clashed, locked in a fierce struggle. Neither seemed willing to yield, their ferocity hinting at an imminent battle of dominance, each determined to vanquish the other.
Both of them were dead. It was better than letting go and the other party suddenly attacking. Only one would die.
This was what these two animals thought. They did not trust each other at all, so they might as well bet their lives.
Gu Chaoyan let out a sigh of relief.
It seemed that the Chaotic Space was quite good to her.
She didn’t let her fight with these things, or she would be the one to die.
The two behemoths were in a stalemate for a short while before they both fell.
Gu Chaoyan did not dare to go over. She waited for half an hour before she went over.
She had come with the intention of taming a beast to be her companion. Though now deceased, this tiger still held value—its meat and fur alone were worth salvaging. If it possessed an inner core, it would be an even greater prize.
Preparing to claim her find, she was suddenly startled by a movement from the massive tiger. Though it lacked strength, the mere shift of its claws was enough to jolt her.
With a mixture of surprise and confusion, Gu Chaoyan watched as the tiger extended the object it held towards her, its eyes pleading.
Was it offering this to her?
Tentatively, she accepted the item, only to find herself perplexed by its nature. What was this curious ball in her hands? Emmie recoiled slightly at the unexpected object, her mind racing to comprehend the situation.
