Chapter 5: The Mysterious Young Master

Due to the collision with the car previously, even though there were no obvious wounds, there were still some bruises on her body. This made Weiai feel uncomfortable and it slowed down her usual walking pace.
At the same time, she was distracted by what Ning Yuan said before they left the room.
He said, “Little girl, even though you are not her, you might be her younger sister, so welcome back.”
Younger sister? Whose younger sister?
While feeling perplexed, she felt a trace of curiosity.
This place seemed to be filled with mystery.
In her surroundings, she could make out her reflection in the crystal tile—her hair was in a mess and her eyes were bloodshot and she was only wearing a sleeping attire which barely covered her calves. Hence, in general, she looked very unkempt.
“Old Mister, please give me a moment.”
After hesitating for a moment, Weiai mustered her courage to call out Uncle Zhong.
Upon seeing Uncle Zhong turn around, she said with a smile, “Old mister, is it possible for me to have a change of clothing? Isn’t it rude for me to meet the young master in this state?”
“There is no need for that.”
Weiai felt that she had an appropriate and amiable bearing. However, Uncle Zhong merely turned to look at her carelessly and replied to her coldly, after which he turned back and proceeded forward.
At that moment, Weiai’s smile froze on her face and all she could do was to follow behind closely.
She could not help but wonder who her savior was?
With respect to the night before, she could only recall that she ran into a car in the rain after she made her way out of the night club, after which she fell into the embrace of a stranger. As she was drugged by Meng Xinlan, she was barely in a conscious state of mind. She could only faintly recall that that person’s embrace was warm while his hands were cold.
She had no recollection of anything after that.
However, no matter who he was, since he saved her from hell, she must thank him!
As for Meng Xinlan, she promised herself that she would make her pay for her actions when she returned!
“We have arrived.”
As many thoughts raced through Weiai’s mind, Uncle Zhong stopped.
Weiai was stunned for a moment. She raised her head up to look at the black door in front of her. The sides of the door were gold embellished. As compared to the other doors she saw on her way here, this one appeared much more gloomy and a little out of place.
As she was thinking this, the door opened suddenly. A delicate and pretty girl popped her head out of the door. It was clear that she was of the same age as Weiai. However, she was dressed appropriately and looked solemn, appearing even a little old-fashioned.
She first looked at Uncle Zhong, then she proceeded to fix her gaze on Weiai. For a long time, she examined Weiai up and down, refusing to miss out on any detail, as if she was looking at someone else through her.
“There is indeed some resemblance…”
At the end of it, the young lady mumbled under her breath.
Following that, she waved her arm and said, “Go on in, the young master is waiting for you.”
Weiai took a careful peek into the room. However, the room was so dark that she could see nothing. Under the watch of the young lady and Uncle Zhong, she could only move her legs hesitantly, until she was inside the room.
“Boom—”
Once she entered the room, the door was slammed shut, making a deep, loud noise.
“Hey! What are you guys doing? Open the door…”
Subconsciously, Weiai turned around and pounded on the door, a sense of fear and anxiety enveloping her.
However, she did not receive any reply. She clenched her fists tight and turned around slowly, looking around the dark room. She was starting to become creeped out.
The room was dark because there was no sunlight at all, even the windows were closed. As if the person living here was trying to keep himself away from the rest of the world. As she slowly adjusted her eyes to her surroundings, she looked around again and realized that the room was surprisingly spacious. But the furnishing was very simple.
The person who lives here must be very lonely!
An inexplicable thought came across Weiai.
At the same time, she directed her gaze at a spot.
Right next to the window, in front of the French window, stood a person back-facing Weiai. He stood there quietly. He was silent and did not respond to Weiai’s presence, exuding a hint of loneliness.
Weiai blinked her eyes and guessed that this man should be the young master they were talking about—her savior!
