Chapter 353: Chapter 353 Hall Family’s Eldest Young Master_1
“`
“I’m discussing with an important guest, deal with it yourselves!”
After he heard the knocking, Finn Carmichael impatiently picked up the phone on the desk, shouted, and then hung up.
Through this phone, the people outside could clearly hear the instructions from the speaker on the door.
“These servants don’t understand the rules, Young Master, please forgive me,” Finn Carmichael said, wiping the sweat off his forehead carefully.
But before he finished speaking, there was another knock on the door.
Although the door was soundproof, the sound of forceful pounding still couldn’t be completely blocked.
“What the hell is going on!” Finn Carmichael impatientaly picked up the receiver again, barking angrily.
The staff were too ignorant of the rules, knocking on the door twice in succession.
“Boss, there’s trouble at the bar, it looks like one party has an esteemed identity, we don’t know what to do.”
The anxious voice of the security came from outside the door.
Through the phone, one could faintly hear the sounds of fighting and cursing.
“Go out and take a look, you’ve been keeping a low profile for three years, they seem to have forgotten how awe-inspiring this glittering world once was!”
Julius Reed’s hearing was very good, and although he was two meters away, he heard everything said on the phone loud and clear.
His sudden disappearance three years ago forced Finn Carmichael to keep a low profile to avoid revealing his identity.
Now that he had returned, there was nothing to be afraid of.
“You guys go first and keep an eye on things, don’t end up with a dead body, I’ll be right there!”
After he hung up the phone, Finn Carmichael stood up and said quietly, “I’ll go out and deal with this, Young Master, please wait a moment.”
“Let’s go out together, I have a friend out there anyway, I’m bored just sitting around.” Julius Reed also stood up, “You go ahead, I’ll follow.”
Finn Carmichael didn’t dare say more. He hurried out of the manager’s office to see which fool had chosen today of all days to cause trouble.
The Young Master had returned, what was there to be concerned about?
There was a ruckus, a fight would end it.
“What are you doing!”
No sooner had he entered the bar than he saw two people wrestling each other with the rest of the crowd egging them on.
“Beat him to death!”
“You really don’t know how formidable our Young Master is!”
“Go Mr. Fairbanks!”
A man in a suit was on top of a smaller man, raining down punches like a torrential downpour.
If someone didn’t intervene soon, it appeared a life could be lost.
Whenever the smaller man tried to turn over, a robust man rushed over and kicked him fiercely, leaving him without the strength to fight back.
“Stop!”
Finn Carmichael pushed through the crowd, escorted by security, and approached the two men.
The man was clearly out for blood, and another minute of assault probably would have snuffed the life out of the smaller man.
“Who the hell are you! Stop sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong!”
Before Finn Carmichael got close, two robust men immediately blocked his path, their tone extremely hostile.
“Oh! I’ve been fighting here for so long, and finally someone dares to intervene. Interesting!” Seeing someone trying to intervene, the aggressor slowly stood up. Someone immediately handed him a towel to wipe the blood off his fists.
“Brother!”
Just then, a woman’s scream came from behind the aggressor.
The voice was heart-wrenching, but the woman was firmly restrained by someone, utterly unable to move.
“Simeon Kensington?”
But Julius Reed, not far away, recognized the woman at a glance, Elize Yarrow’s good friend, Simeon Kensington.
“`
Among those holding Simeon Kensington was someone he recognized.
Quella Radcliffe’s brother, Otis Radcliffe.
“Do you know where you are!” Finn Carmichael saw the man’s arrogant attitude and his face instantly turned ashen.
In the past, anyone who dared to cause trouble in the glitz and glamor would have their legs broken. Although low-key in recent years, whenever he stepped in, no one dared to disrespect him.
“I know all right!” the man sauntered over, chuckling, “It’s a bar, right? Could it possibly be somewhere else?”
“I am the manager of this bar. Have you thought about the consequences of hitting people and causing trouble here?”
Finn Carmichael asked with a cold tone, hands clasped behind his back.
Now that Julius Reed had reappeared in the world, he had nothing to fear; this was the perfect opportunity to restore the reputation of the bar.
“Consequences?”
The man raised an eyebrow and shook his head, “I’ve never thought about the consequences when I hit people. I just hit them, and at worst, if they die, I’ll just pay some money.”
Such arrogance angered many of the bar’s patrons, but given the man’s status, they could only suppress their rage internally.
“Good, since you’re the boss, this guy has made a mess of the bar, make him pay for it.”
The man tossed the towel in his hand and turned to leave.
“Stop right there!” Finn Carmichael’s face darkened, and he gestured for the security behind him to surround the man.
“Without rules, there’s no square or circle!”
He looked at the people before him and said coldly, “If you cause trouble in the bar, you have to follow my rules!”
“Wow!”
The man turned back, laughing instead of getting angry, “You really are stepping out of line! Even if I smash this lousy bar to bits, what can you do to me?”
“Do you f**king know who our Young Master is! Sebastian of the Hall Family in the capital!”
Sterling Fairbanks’s bodyguards immediately stepped forward, glaring hostilely at Finn Carmichael, “Blind your dog eyes, daring to speak to our master like this!”
“The Hall Family of the capital? Are you talking about the Hall Family that represents Bright-Sky Jewelry on the mainland?”
“They’ve opened over a hundred stores with an annual turnover of over a hundred billion; truly a big shot of the capital city!”
“I heard the Hall Family has recently connected with the Leocadia Family, with considerable momentum for further advancement!”
The bar’s clientele were mostly local rich second generations, and they were more than familiar with the Hall Family of the capital.
Boden Fairbanks, the Family Head of the Hall Family, started from scratch when he was young, and secured the Mainland distribution rights of Bright-Sky International Group ten years ago. Within a short decade, he had become a part of the capital’s elite with a net worth in the hundreds of billions.
It was rumored that the Hall Family now had a connection with the Leocadia Family of the capital, aiming to reach a further collaboration.
Once this deal was completed, the status of the Hall Family would be elevated yet another notch.
Listening to the people around discussing fervently, Sterling Fairbanks held his head high, pride written all over his face.
And Finn Carmichael found himself in a quandary.
He had thought the adversary was just a commonplace rich second generation, only to realize it was a scion of the Hall Family of the capital.
If it had been some other family, he might have dared to give a lesson, but now facing the rising Hall Family, Finn Carmichael was unsure of what to do.
“What’s wrong? Scared after hearing the name of this master?”
Sterling Fairbanks laughed boisterously, stepping up to Finn Carmichael, “You’ve made me very unhappy today. How about this, kneel down and give me several loud kowtows, and I might just let it slide because of my good mood.”
He paused, then glanced at the bar, “Otherwise, I am actually considering smashing this bar to smithereens. What do you think?”
Hiss!
The crowd gasped in shock.
The fame of the bar still lingered, and although it was no longer as mighty as before, it remained a large local establishment.
And now, just at a word from the Hall Family heir, it might be smashed to pieces?
“Even if you are a member of the Hall Family, you have to follow the rules here!”
It was in that moment, Julius Reed stepped out from amongst the crowd.
