Luo Beiyu remembered Muyan’s power, shivering unconsciously.
But he was also quite eager.
As Muyan finished her meal, Luo Beiyu immediately said with excitement, “Master, Master! Can you teach me how to draw now? How do you draw people like they’re in the flesh?”
Muyan took a sip of tea and said with a slow smile, “You choose the right reference.”
“You mean I didn’t? No way! I always selected real beauties and asked them to wear gauze to stimulate the senses…”
Muyan glanced over with her gloomy, ice-cold eyes. Luo Beiyu immediately raised his hand to swear by the heavens with the sun as his witness. “Master, I swear, those beauties were all volunteers, and I paid them handsomely. The only one I might have forced was you… ahem, ahem, Master, anyway, you caught me the first time I made a mistake.”
Muyan’s mouth curved up a little. “You’re accustomed to seeing beauties, so how would that stimulate your senses? Don’t you think it was unconventional and interesting how your guards posed yesterday? Did that inspire you to create?”
Luo Beiyu’s eyes lit up. “You’re right, Master. Especially the head guard. It was very unconventional for him to put on semi-naked palace clothing… Hahaha, Master, you’re so inspirational. I’ll go try it right now!”
The silly prince ran out excitedly, and wails of anger and despair immediately came from outside the carriage.
Muyan picked up her teacup and took another sip, smiling lazily and evilly.
They offended her and wanted to escape trouble so easily? Hehe, too naive!
The carriage moved forward slowly, and three days later, when Luo Beiyu’s guards were tortured almost insane and wanted to dig holes in the ground to bury themselves, they finally arrived at Forest Mist.
…
Forest Mist was named so because it was misty and foggy all day long there.
Deeper into the forest, the fog grew thicker to the point where one could hardly see his own fingers.
But the beasts in the fog had long been accustomed to such an environment.
Human warriors, though, could only use Mystic aura to probe their surroundings while walking in the fog.
You could imagine how dangerous it was inside.
Even so, as dangerous as Forest Mist was, there were a lot of precious and rare Mystic medicines there.
And a lot of low-ranking warriors would come to search for them even during ordinary times.
Now, since an unusual vision descended from the sky, it proved that some kind of rare treasure must’ve showed up, and a lot of high-ranking warriors gathered there.
“Master, Young Senior Martial Brother, there’s a clean bluestone here. Come and sit!”
Luo Beiyu called Muyan and Xiaobao over politely as he wiped off the dew on the stone for them.
The head guard covered his eyes and didn’t have the heart to see his prince behaving so stupidly.
Does he remember he’s Prince Third of Chiyan State?
Muyan wasn’t flattered at all and went to sit down leisurely with Xiaobao in her arms.
Luo Beiyu said, “Master, you and Young Senior Martial Brother should get some rest here. I’ll go pick some herbs for you. The Mystic medicine in the periphery of Forest Mist can’t compare to those deep inside, but they can also net you a good price out there!”
Luo Beiyu was about to leave when suddenly, a furry shadow darted out of the mist.
Considering the forest was full of fierce beasts, Luo Beiyu’s guards were immediately alert.
But when they saw the furry shadow clearly, everyone was stunned.
It was a rabbit with long ears and long hair, just a little bigger than an adult’s two hands stacked together.
The rabbit’s round, pink eyes were hidden behind its white hair, looking quite dull. It made the rabbit look silly.
