Chapter 221: The Sunken Submarine
“Little guy, don’t be naughty!”
Chu Xian rubbed the dolphin’s head and chuckled.
The dolphin calmed down, and swam around in the area. The other five dolphins leaped from time to time, and seemed to be expressing gratitude for their benefactor.
“Let’s go back to the fishing ship.” Chu Xian pointed.
The dolphin that he sat on immediately swam over to the Mermaid. When Yan Wenwen saw Chu Xian and his dolphin heading over to them, she immediately swam over.
“Old Huang, have Sword Four and the others go catch some small fish and small shrimp.” Chu Xian called out to Old Huang.
“Yes boss.” Old Huang nodded, and soon Sword Four and the other men dived into the sea with fishing nets in hand.
“Wenwen, be careful.”
Chu Xian hurriedly called out when he noticed Yan Wenwen swimming over. The dolphins were two to three meters in length, and although they wouldn’t attack humans, even an accidental bump would hurt.
“En. Can I touch the dolphins?” Yan Wenwen nodded, and she called over from the side.
“I’ll ask them.” Chu Xian rubbed the pink river dolphin’s head. “Can you let this young lady touch you?”
The pink river dolphin leaped out of the water, and then same to Yan Wenwen’s side and circled her.
Yan Wenwen had to take out her phone, and she shouted excitedly. “Ah, it’s so beautiful! So cute! Chu Xian, take some pictures of us.”
Chu Xian chuckled and took pictures of her with the pink river dolphin.
Yan Wenwen hugged the dolphin’s body excitedly.
Back on the fishing ship, the watching crowd were awed.
“A dolphin rider, how cool.” Duan Ke exclaimed and sighed in admiration.
“Why are they so close with Mr. Chu?” A confused actor asked.
Although dolphins were friendly creatures, these wild dolphins were definitely not this friendly to humans.
“Because Chu Xian saved their lives.” Duan Ke smiled and replied.
After playing with the dolphins a while longer, Chu Xian patted the dolphin’s head and slid off.
At that moment, Sword Four and the other mermen swam over, carrying nets full of little fish and shrimp.
Chu Xian took these nets and tossed and fed them to the dolphins. The six cute creatures ate happily.
“You guys keep playing!” Chu Xian rubbed their heads, and then returned to the ship.
The dolphins did not leave, and cheerfully swam near the ship.
“Look at you, a dolphin rider. You were so random! I already have you on film, and I’ll send you a copy later.” Duan Ke smiled and called out as Chu Xian rebounded the ship.
“It’s because I’m too charming.” Chu Xian joked.
“Big Brother Chu Xian, why were they so friendly with you, it looked like they knew you very well. Are they your sea friends?” As soon as Yan Wenwen boarded the boat, she rushed over to Chu Xian to ask.
“When I came out here last time, I happened to save their lives. I didn’t know that this group of dolphins would remember.” Chu Xian smiled.
“Alright. Sword Three already caught all out food. Everyone has to try. The giant lobster, giant crabs, and oysters!”
Sword Three had also just gotten on board, and inside his net were three giant lobsters, two giant crabs, and more than ten catties of oysters.
“Wow, the lobsters and carb are so big!” Yan Wenwen’s eyes fell open in surprise, and she walked over to carefully touch the creatures.
“Old Huang, go prepare them.” Chu Xian smiled.
“Heihei, today I will really enjoy my lunch.” Ren Penghui licked his lips, very much looking forward to the meal.
“Life at sea is really so eventful. I kind of want the film to take longer!”
“Look at those dolphins! They are so cute!”
The people chatted and passed the time, and very quickly the steamed giant lobsters were ready on the table. Old Huang had prepared some dipping sauce, and everything looked delicious.
The crabs were cooked immediately after, and the green onion oil crabs could be smelled from every corner of the ship.
“Wow. Chu Xian, do you have some alcohol. I think we should drink a little.” Duan Ke looked over the giant lobsters and crabs and commented to Chu XIan.
Chu Xian nodded, and went to retrieve a couple of bottles from storage.
“Do you want some??” Chu Xian asked Yan Wenwen.
“Of course!” Yan Wenwen nodded, reaching out for a cup.
“We won’t have to film this afternoon anyway, so everyone can relax and let loose.” Duan Ke said to the people around him.
“Oh, long live the director!”
The three delicious dishes of giant lobster, giant crab, and oyster were all prepared on the table, and the group of people excitedly began to eat.
“Huh, amazing. This is too delicious.” Duan Ke couldn’t help but lean back in his chair and rub his belly.
“If you guys want to, we can eat lick this everyday.” Chu Xian chuckled.
“Then I will put on so much weight. We can’t.” Yan Wenwen cried out.
“Haha, don’t worry. Goddess, no matter how much you eat you won’t put on weight!”
The group chatted and joked.
After lunch, the ship set sail again, and Chu Xian waved goodbye to the dolphins, a happy smile on his lips.
“They’re so cute. I wish I could take them home!” Yan Wenwen looked out at the dolphins and said sadly.
“Take them home? Hehe, that pink dolphin is an extremely rare sight, both beautiful and adorable. I also want one.” Duan Ke smiled.
“If I owned an island, I would definitely raise dolphins.”
Chu Xian thought this over, and then he shook his head. An island? Not only would it take a lot of money to just buy the land, it would take an untold amount to develop the place and build the buildings.
And, he also did not want to live on an island in the middle of nowhere.
The ships sailed forward slowly, and suddenly Chu Xian felt a familiar presence up ahead. He paused to focus, and immediately sent out his sonar, but he did not see anything out of the ordinary.
“The dunkleosteus must be nearby. This feeling should come from them.” Chu Xian thought to himself.
The dunkleosteus were created from his energy, and they were like parts of his body. He knew they were nearby, but could not pinpoint their exact location.
But at that moment, his sonar detected something surprising.
At the bottom of the sea, not far from them, a large object lay on the sea bed. It was not a fish, but rather a submarine, and it looked like a military model.
But right now the submarine seemed broken, and half of it was buried in the sea floor.
Chu Xian focused, and he could see that both sides of the submarine were covered by various sea growth, and there was only a single scar in the back of the submarine that was uncovered.
Chu Xian could infer from this that the submarine had not been stuck here for a long time, and that there might even still be people inside.
Chu Xian frowned, and headed over to the cabin to tell Old Mu to stop the ship.
“What’s happening, Chu XIan?” Duan Ke and the others noticed the ship stopping and were surprised.
“I’ve found something. You guys wait here, I need to go down to check it out. Oh, and Wenwen, can you lend me your waterproof case.” Chu Xian smiled at the actors, but did not explain much. He took Yan Wenwen’s waterproof case and put on the diving equipment, and without another word, jumped into the water.
“This… What did brother Chu Xian find for him to just jump into the water?” Yan Zekun asked with some curiosity.
“Maybe there is some treasure?” Duan Ke thought back to the sea cucumbers Chu Xiasn had stored on his ship before, and smiled and guessed.
After jumping into the ocean, Chu Xian swam downwards. Very soon, he could see the huge vessel lying on the bottom of the ocean.
He stayed a safe distance away, and used his god’s eye view to scope out the area.
“From the condition of the submarine and the marks around it, it looks like the submarine just sank. There are probably still people inside. The ship is marked Diving Dragon A0001. It should be a Chinese military submarine, I just don’t know what it is doing here.”
Chu Xian frowned, and then took out his phone to take pictures.
He did not swim over to the submarine, afraid that he would be putting himself in a dangerous situation. After he took the pictures, he returned to the ship.
“Chu Xian, what kind of treasure did you find?” Duan Ke called over when Chu Xian returned to the deck.
“Nothing. Our detection equipment was wrong.” Chu Xian smiled and shook his head as he headed for the cabin.
“I need to inform my men!” Chu Xian took off his gear and thought to himself, his mind still on the submarine at the bottom of the sea.
