Chapter 7. I Won’t Give Up
Xin Ai tried to grab the door handle and opened it, “Uncle Jian, you can’t be like this. You can punish me, but don’t leave me … I can do anything, next time I will follow your wishes, can’t I?”
Jian Si wanted to cover his ears, even he was too embarrassed to hear that.
Jian Zechuan’s face turned grim, releasing Xin Ai’s hand and closing the window. His voice cold, as if he could drop hail, “Drive.”
As soon as the car moved, Xin Ai teetered trying to catch up to about two meters and shouted, “Sanye, just wait. I won’t give up. I managed to get into your bed once, surely I can still ride for the second time … just wait!”
Jian Si didn’t close the window of his car, and Xin Ai’s voice could be heard getting into the car. It seemed like he was the only one that was surprised. He carefully looked at Jian Zechuan through the rearview mirror. His master had closed his eyes, and there was no expression.
Jian Si was unable to understand Sanye’s thoughts, sending money to Xin Ai, does that mean he still has to go to see her tomorrow?
Didn’t he just enough to open the checkbook and hand it to Xin Ai? Why must he bother with it?
Jian Si said hesitantly in a low voice, “Sanye, it’s so late. Miss Xin is alone in the middle of the road, this…”
The person behind didn’t move. Jian Si thought about it for a moment and decided to leave it alone, no need to look for trouble.
Jian Si’s cellphone rang. He glanced at his caller ID and said, “Sanye, Jiang Cao is calling, probably still expecting help from you.”
Jian Zechuan said while closing his eyes, “How can the Jiang Family’s funding chain be in trouble?”
“Two years ago, the Jiang Family took a piece of land at a high price in the southern part of the city to build an elite housing estate. However, the funds did not include funding for the surrounding community, so the project was not completed according to schedule. Now the bank is asking for payment, the homeowner also urged to handover the house. Jiang’s family is currently in financial difficulty, does Sanye want to help them?”
“Help, of course, I should help.”
Jian Si wondered, why was Sanye so kind?
It didn’t take long, the doubts in his heart disappeared when he heard Jian Zechuan muttering, “Help the Jiang Family to go bankrupt as soon as possible.”
Jian Zechuan’s voice sounded cold as if it had entered autumn; the cold slowly attacking the body. Right when the cold is felt, the wind has passed.
“Cough, alright …” Jian Si quietly criticized in his heart, right, Sanye couldn’t possibly be so kind.
Jian Zechun’s car was farther and fading away in the dark night. The despair on Xin Ai’s face radiated into her eyes.
She made a mess. She had risked all her pride and dignity to get on Jian Zechuan’s bed, but now it was over.
Xin Huan hasn’t found anything. Jin Zechuan has gotten rid of her. Xin Ai doesn’t know what to do in the future.
The road is so dark; she can not see clearly what is in front of her. Just like what Xin Ai is facing right now, she doesn’t know what road ahead, what the future will be like, but she still has to endure and keep going in the dark.
If she also gave up, who else would help her sister?
No matter how dangerous it would be, she had to keep going.
Because she could not back down again, she had no other choice.
Xin Ai reached for her handbag, even though she hadn’t thought of any plans yet, but now the most important thing was to go home. At this hour, and this road, it’s wasn’t easy to stop a taxi.
Xin Ai snorted at her aching heel due to her high heels, but she still hadn’t found a taxi. Several cars stopped approaching her to ask how much money was needed to bring her back. The more she walked, the more she felt afraid. There is a car that keeps following behind her. Perhaps, before she could find her sister, something would happen to her
Just when the car behind speed up, suddenly a taxi appears and stops next to her. The beautiful woman driver asked, “Little sister, do you want to take a taxi?”
Xin Ai did not say anything and immediately climbed into the taxi. Finally, she was able to avoid the car behind her. She heaved a sigh of relief, it seemed that her luck wasn’t that bad.
