Chapter 76. How Can You Be so Righteous?
“Can we go back now?”
They had been out for too long and it was hot outside, so Jiang Sheng was almost reaching his limit.
“Then let’s head back!”
Pei Siyan held Jiang Sheng’s hand and walked away without even saying goodbye to Pei Hao; he was going to leave that way.
“Hey! Have you forgotten your uncle? You can only see your wife now, right? Hey! You should at least say goodbye to me! That’s rude, Pei Siyan!”
Pei Hao was complaining behind them, but Pei Siyan just ignored him.
Jiang Sheng felt that was a bit impolite indeed, so he stopped Pei Siyan, turned around, and nodded at Pei Hao, “We will head back first, uncle Hao. You can visit us at our place if you have time to do so. Sorry, I can’t really go out because it’s too hot for me.” His voice was a bit awkward.
Pei Hao was stunned for a second, ‘This young man looks like an annoying childe, but he is unexpectedly polite.’
‘It looks like he has a good manner! He’s definitely not related to that damned Jiang Huo.’
“Pei Siyan, say something. It’s rude to just leave like that.”
Pei Siyan was extremely reluctant to say it. He was sick of it since they had greeted each other in that way for hundreds of years.
But he couldn’t bear to embarrass Jiang Sheng since he asked him to do so, so he said, “Bye, come over when you have time.” He then held Jiang Sheng’s hand again and left without looking back.
Behind them, Bai Hao nodded and walked up quickly to follow Pei Siyan and Jiang Sheng.
“Jesus! He really listens to his wife, but not to me anymore. He used to follow me everywhere when he was still a kid!”
Pei Hao mumbled with discontent.
But now he was relieved when he saw Pei Siyan was doing good, and a smile showed up on his face.
‘But that’s weird! Though he is always obedient to his wife, he would still be mad when Lan Yuan made him do something he didn’t like before. But how could he be so nice and gentle when it comes to this little boy? He was being even more obedient!
Plus, that little boy just said that he couldn’t go out since it was too hot out here. Could he also be a vampire just like Lan Yuan?’
“Whatever, can’t figure it out anyway. I gotta go back! I’ve been out for too long that my work is postponed.” Pei Hao rushed back to his own lab.
A tall and handsome man followed behind him the moment he left, and he curved up his mouth.
Just as Pei Hao walked to the front of the door of his laboratory and was about to push the door, someone in the dark covered his mouth from his back and dragged him into the material room on the side.
Pei Hao cursed ‘F**k!’ in his mind immediately and fought back as hard as he could, but all of his efforts were useless. The man in the dark pushed him against the wall first and kick the door closed behind them.
“Hmm… let go of me! F**k you, Jiang Huo, you son of a b**ch…” Pei Hao struggled violently with his mouth covered; he was clearly outrageous.
“Oh well! You know it’s me!”
Jiang Huo smiled and took his hand off from Pei Hao’s mouth, but still, he controlled his body so that he wouldn’t be able to escape.
“Well, no one in the f**king world would raid me except you, you prick! Are you crazy or something? What was that for?”
Pei Hao was so mad at Jiang Huo that he gave him a glare.
But the material room was pitch-dark that Jiang Huo couldn’t see his angry eyes staring at him.
“Goddamn it, can’t you just turn the light on?” Pei Hao had a bad temper and yelled from time to time. He then pushed Jiang Huo away grumpily, keeping him from getting close to him.
“Of course, your majesty.”
Jiang Huo smiled. After a snap of his fingers, the lights in the material room were turned on.
“Why do you bring me here? What for?”
Pei Hao questioned Jiang Huo the moment he could see him in his eyes.
Jiang Huo didn’t explain; he pinched Pei Hao’s chin instead and said while frowning, “How can you be so righteous while being caught cheating?”
