Chapter 63: His Wife’s Soul
“Pei Siyan, who is he?”
Jiang Sheng dragged Pei Siyan by his sleeve and asked while glancing at Shu Wensheng secretly.
“The prophet.”
Pei Siyan didn’t answer him directly at first. Then he blocked Jiang Sheng’s eyes with his body and frowned.
“What’s wrong?”
Jiang Sheng was upset for not being able to see Shu Wensheng’s face; he even patted on Pei Siyan’s back to let him move away.
Pei Siyan was a bit unhappy. The man who had said he would be married to him a minute ago was now drooling over another hot guy.
“I see. You wanna work to pay the debt yourself, right?”
Pei Siyan said coldly and he turned around, staring at Jiang Sheng with a touch of danger in his eyes.
Jiang Sheng was clever enough to read Pei Siyan’s intention.
“Haha! I’m so thirsty now! I gotta grab a cup of water! You guys can start your ‘man’s talk’ now!” Jiang Sheng ran away immediately.
‘That was fast for you to run away, you little thing. I’ll take care of you later when you come back.’
Despite thinking of this in mind, he was still worried about Jiang Sheng, so he bade the old man, “Keep an eye on him and don’t let him run around.”
“Understood, you can rest assured.”
The old man took the order seriously and followed behind Jiang Sheng quickly.
“Today is a big day I suppose! We have so many companies.”
Shu Wensheng sat down by the table, straightened out his robe first, then looked up at Pei Siyan and put on a graceful smile.
“You don’t need me to tell you why I’m here today, right?”
Pei Siyan sat down on the chair across him; his voice was cold and his eyes were locked on Shu Wensheng directly.
“Of course I know why you are here. My divination can’t be wrong. Your wife did reincarnate to the Jiang Family.” Shu Wensheng’s voice was not loud. His tone was slow, calm and confident.
He grabbed the teacup beside him, blew on it gently, and then took a sip of the tea. He then put it down so lightly that no one could hear the noise he made.
Even though Pei Siyan told Jiang Sheng that Shu Wensheng was a prophet as if he was joking, but Sun Wensheng did have similar abilities and powers.
Shu Wensheng could tell the fortune of the future by reading the divinatory symbols, and he had not erred, not even once.
As for the reason why he could have such a power was that he had drunk Lan Yuan’s blood centuries ago and therefore his body had changed.
He was the descendant of the prophet himself and was already good at things like these, but only he could see clips from the future while others couldn’t.
“But here comes the problem. Hei Ming said that Jiang Sheng is not the reincarnation of my wife. How do you explain that?”
Pei Siyan’s voice was also light yet the coldness in it was obvious.
“Are you suspecting that I was lying to you?”
Shu Wensheng didn’t get angry but smiled warmly instead.
“Lying to me won’t do you any good, so the only thing I can suspect now is that something was wrong with your reading of the divinatory symbols.”
“You must be joking, Mr. Pei. For centuries, my divination had never gone wrong. I’m one hundred percent sure that Jiang Sheng is the reincarnation of your wife. But if someone did some tricks on his reincarnation, that will be out of my control. After all, the clip I saw is that your wife has reincarnated to an infant’s body, and his name is Jiang Sheng.”
Shu Wensheng was still explaining it to Pei Siyan with a good temper and attitude without getting mad.
Pei Siyan didn’t want to be suspicious of Shu Wensheng, but at the same time, he also trusted Hei Ming.
“So, there could be someone manipulating this?”
“It won’t make sense if there isn’t. Since all those clips I saw can’t be fake.”
Shu Wensheng confirmed it again and there was no sign of him lying.
Therefore, the one thing Pei Siyan was sure was that there was someone manipulating this and changed Lan Yuan’s soul. That was the only reason why his information couldn’t match with Shu Wensheng’s divination.
