Chapter 52: Your Hug is Hurting Me
“You sure about that Jiang Xiao is Lan Yuan?” Pei Siyan asked meticulously again.
“I’m 80% sure about that.”
‘80%? That’s rather believable. Hei Ming is not that type of man who tell lies easily. He is probably being honest with me. And he has no reason to lie to me. After all, he needs Lan Yuan’s blood from me. But why does he need Lan Yuan’s blood? What for? He just said something about the ingredient of certain medicine? But, for whom?’
Pei Siyan thought for a second, and then his body shivered while he looked at Bai Hao’s belly.
‘The kid is still alive? It could only be Bai Hao or the kid who can make Hei Ming give out everything like that.’
Seeing that Pei Siyan was looking at Bai Hao’s belly, Hei Ming shook his head as an implication.
His reaction just let Pei Siyan knew that his presumption was right.
“I’ll pay a visit to Shu Wensheng tomorrow and I’ll give you the answer by then. It’s rather late now, rest early.”
After saying that, Pei Siyan left.
“Okay.”
Hei Ming didn’t hold him any longer.
The room fell into silence after Pei Siyan had left.
Bai Hao cast a glance at Hei Ming and walked to the bed. He then lay down without a word.
Hei Ming turned around and looked at Bai Hao. He knew Bai Hao was mad at him now.
Because he had just said he wanted the blood of Lan Yuan instead of him.
How much Hei Ming wished he could tell Bai Hao his thoughts! But he couldn’t, he couldn’t tell Bai Hao that their son was still alive until the day Bai Haotian could live healthily and normally ever after.
Or else Bai Hao would suffer the pain of losing his son again. He couldn’t stand the pain another time, which would make him collapse.
Bai Hao walked over and lay down by Bai Hao’s side without a word. He held Bai Hao by his waist and fell asleep with his arms around him.
Bai Hao wanted to push Hei Ming away, but he couldn’t, so he gazed at the dark night outside the window alone and was lost in it.
Back to the side of Pei Siyan who just returned to his room.
“You are back? That is fast enough.” Jiang Sheng was lying in bed watching a movie; he glanced at Pei Siyan and asked.
Pei Siyan didn’t respond. Instead, he just looked at Jiang Sheng while standing at the doorway quietly.
‘Is he really Lan Yuan?’
Pei Siyan expected it to be as he wished but he was too timid to accept it for he was afraid his hopes would be wrecked.
‘What again? Why is this goddamn man staring at me like this again? Could it be that he just blew a fuse at somewhere and returned?’
‘Defense was written all over Jiang Sheng’s eyes; he sat up and held the pillow tightly while staring at Pei Siyan cautiously.
Pei Siyan was still silent, he strode towards Jiang Sheng. Just as Jiang Sheng was scared and was about to stay back away from him, he suddenly held Jiang Sheng tightly in his arms as if he wanted to melt him inside him and could never be set apart.
“Damn it! Easy! Easy! Your hug is hurting me! What is that for all of a sudden?”
Jiang Sheng went grumpy immediately and tried to struggle, but his hug was too tight for him to break away from it.
Pei Siyan didn’t respond but held him even tighter instead. His face rubbed against Jiang Sheng’s neck, and kisses fell also fell on it. His eyes were red and full of tears.
“Oh come on! Would it kill you to go gentle?” Jiang Sheng roared angrily again.
But that was useless. Pei Siyan just wouldn’t let him go. He sobbed and called, “Is that you, my dear wife? Is that really you?”
Tears started to run down from Pei Siyan’s eyes, and agony was the only thing that could be seen on his face.
Jiang Sheng became quiet. He stopped struggling and didn’t show unhappiness on his face but a touch of sadness instead.
He reached out and held Pei Siyan back. Then he answered in a soft voice, “I’m here. I’m here.”
‘This man does love his wife! Oh crap! I’m getting jealous now.’
Jiang Sheng was having a fight inside his mind, but then shortly after, he sighed.
‘Never mind, his wife is dead anyway. There’s no need to go hard on that.’
