Chapter 39: Hug Me
“I don’t wanna see you now! Get the f**k out of here!”
Bai Hao shouted as loudly as he could. He wiped his tears and sat up, about to kick Hei Ming out of the room. But just as he did so, his body suddenly became so weak that he fell back to his bed. His face blushed and his breath kept getting faster.
‘The medicine, damn it! I haven’t done the injection today.”
Bai Hao tried as hard as he could to climb to the nightstand; he reached for the drawer for multiple times but failed, and then he started to see overlapped shadows.
Bai Hao knew this was the side effect of his injection. If he didn’t get the injection in time, his limbs would become weak and powerless, and his body would start to burn like having a fever. His soul would be burning in lust and his body would also yearn for it.
‘I cannot let this f**king man find that out! No! I need to find my drug, now.”
Bai Hao was sweating like a pig. He bit his lower lip tightly and dragged himself slowly to the nightstand.
Nonetheless, he was completely powerless at this moment. Started from gasping, his body was then burning in red, and his head ached as if it was going to explode.
Just as he reached out again, the blurry shadow of Hei Ming came into his sight, and then he felt the pain in his arm.
Having his lust being suppressed, Bai Hao curled up in bed, gasped while holding himself tightly. He then swallowed again and again, as if he had just been through hell.
Just when he felt a touch of warmness on his forehead, he opened his eyes and saw Hei Ming who was using his bony hand to check his body temperature.
At that very second, tears came down from Bai Hao’s eyes again. He then slapped Hei Ming’s hand off from him and covered his tearful eyes with his arms.
He could no longer remember when was the last time Hei Ming treated him that gently, maybe fifty years? Maybe a century? Or maybe even longer.
Hei Ming knew what Bai Hao would do that, so he wasn’t really angry or surprised. The only thing he was feeling was the pain. He looked at Bai Hao who was crying with his back against him, and his eyes were filled with sorrow.
“You are always like that. Whenever I hate you the most, you show me chances and warmness. Whenever I see a chance between us, you bring me back to hell. I’ve had enough of this. I’m going crazy now, so just stop pestering me. I can no longer be hurt and I no longer want to get hurt.” Bai Hao roared. Two hundred years ago, he thought Hei Ming did have some feelings for him because he had been gentle when he was pregnant. But then he ripped open his stomach by force and took away the only six-month-old child.
He hated himself for being unable to do anything, but he just couldn’t really hate Hei Ming, even though he had hurt him over and over again.
Hei Ming didn’t respond; he just gazed at the back of Bai Hao in silence and then sighed.
He reached out his hand and wanted to touch Bai Hao. He wanted to hold him in his arms to comfort him, to ease his mind, but he couldn’t.
Because Bai Hao hated him. All those things he wanted to do would only make Bai Hao hate him even more.
The silence remained until Bai Hao stopped crying and sat up weakly. Then he unbuttoned his pajamas.
Even though the light was not on in the room, but Bai Hao’s body was still visible to Hei Ming in the moonlight.
Hei Ming’s breath remained steady and he didn’t show any impatience. He just gazed at Bai Hao instead, with disbelief in his eyes.
He had known Bai Hao for centuries and this was the first time of him being so active
“Hug me.”
Without any fancy words, Bai Hao said the two words in a low and calm voice. While he said so, his eyes were filled with tears.
